What the badges mean

A directory is only useful if you know how far to trust it. Every profile shows one of three states.

  • Listed Compiled from public sources — official site, docs and public datasets.
  • Verified An editor confirmed the official domain and social accounts.
  • Claimed The team proved control of an email on the listed domain.

Questions

What is BitOrgs?

BitOrgs is an independent directory of organizations working in crypto and blockchain — exchanges, protocols, wallets, infrastructure providers, funds, auditors, media, associations and businesses that accept crypto. Every profile shows category, headquarters, founding year, supported chains and official links.

How do organizations get verified?

An organization is marked Verified when an editor has confirmed its official website and socials, and Claimed when someone from the team has proven control of a company email on the listed domain. Unverified profiles are compiled from public sources and labelled as such.

Is listing free?

Yes. A standard listing is free and reviewed within 14 days. An optional Express review is reviewed within 48 hours and includes a followed website link.

Can I correct a profile?

Yes — every profile has a “Suggest a correction” form, and owners can claim their profile to edit it directly.

Run a crypto organization?

Add it for free, or claim the profile we already have so you can keep it accurate.
